I absolutely love rooibos tea, it’s refreshing and earthy flavour is comforting.and being caffeine-free is a bonus. This is a refreshing summer drink when you need a lift . I made it yesterday and cant wait to drink it again today.

She makes a hot version as an early morning detox tea, for which you simply use hot brewed Rooibos. Both versions taste fantastic.
Rooibos tea, 1 cup (250 ml) brewed and cooled
Maple syrup 1 tbsp, (15 ml)
Freshly-squeezed juice of half a lemon
Salt, a pinch
Stir maple syrup, lemon juice together in a mug. Fill with Rooibos tea and enjoy on a hot day. Can add ice cubes but I personally prefer it without.
